Concord—September 16, 2020—The drawdown of the lake will begin on October 12, according to a press release from the N.H. Department of Environmental Services.

The ongoing work to replace the Ossipee Lake Dam and the Danforth Brook bridge will have no impact on the schedule, officials confirmed this morning.

A press release issued online yesterday contained the wrong drawdown date, but was quickly corrected.
