Ossipee—May 21, 2013—Old Home Week in Ossipee won’t have Fourth of July fireworks if the Old Home Week planning committee doesn’t get more volunteers. Co-chair Kathleen Maloney said the committee only has three members, and that’s not enough to do all the work that needs to get done such as the planning and staffing the park at the Old Home Week event itself.
She said the fireworks at Constitution Park draw about 3,000 people.
The Old Home Week Committee is meeting Tuesday, (May 21) at 7 p.m. at town hall.
“More hands (means) less work, and we’ve got less hands to do more work,” said Maloney. “We can’t do it all.”
