Freedom — November 25, 2009 — For $10 you can buy a movie ticket – or you can make a meaningful difference to the charitable organization that helped us get our start.
The New England Grassroots Environment Fund, or NEGEF for short, has started a “Rootshare” campaign to help replenish its pool of grant money.
Rootshare works like this: each funded organization (like us) gives NEGEF $10 and asks 10 members or friends to do the same. With 1,000 groups in the NEGEF network, the goal is to raise $100,000 that can be used to help the work of small organizations around New England next year.
NEGEF is an organization where every $10 counts and every grant project has a measurable impact. We’ve sent them our $10 donation and hope you’ll do the same.
