Freedom – May 16, 2010 – “When are the fireworks at Camp Huckins?”

It’s the question lake residents and boaters start asking each summer as the 4th of July approaches – sometimes too late, since the camp often holds its display in advance of the 4th based on the camping schedule.

So, when are they?

Thanks to our Broad Bay correspondent Bob Smart, this year we have the date well in advance. It’s Wednesday night, June 30 at 9 p.m. In case of bad weather, the back-up date is the next night, Thursday the 1st.
