Freedom — December 16, 2008 — The meeting of the Freedom Selectmen’s Land Committee, originally scheduled for last week, will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
The Land Committee is expected to discuss the purchase of approximately 18 acres of a 55-acre parcel at the intersection of Route 153 and Ossipee Lake Road for the relocation and consolidation of the town’s municipals services, including the town offices and fire and police stations.
The meeting is open to the public.
Maybe they should use our tax money to clean up the milfoil instead of building themselves a new municipal complex.
