What is an Aquifer? How Do We Protect It?

Freedom—July 25, 2017—Local environmental organization Green Mountain Conservation Group will host a presentation on August 1 titled “What exactly is an aquifer, and how do we protect it?”

Dr. Robert Newton will be the speaker at the event. He’s the Director of the Smith College Center for the Environment, Ecological Designing, and Sustainability, and has studied our area extensively.

The August 1 presentation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at Runnells Hall, 25 Deer Hill Road, in Chocorua and will be followed by a discussion and brief meeting of GMCG’s Aquifer Steering Committee.
