Plymouth State University Scientists Will Study Ossipee Lake

Freedom—November 22, 2014—A multi-year project led by the Center for the Environment at Plymouth State University is assessing the relationship between climate and water quality in Ossipee Lake. The in-depth study is being managed by Melanie Perello, a graduate student who is using the study as part of her master’s thesis at the school.

The project, which began in February and also includes Squam Lake, continue through June 2015. Monitoring equipment may remain in place for a longer-term study.
