Bluffs Association Dock Equipment Goes Missing

Ossipee – April 19, 2010 – The Ossipee Bluffs Association is missing close to $6,000 worth of aluminum dock equipment and hopes the public can help find them.

Bluffs Association President Steve Foley said the equipment was too heavy to float away in the recent flooding which means they were stolen, likely for resale.

The sections include two 4 ft. x 4 ft. aluminum ramps which attach to the docks, and four similar ramps measuring 8 ft. X 4 ft.

The police have been notified, but Foley said he hopes lake residents will also keep a lookout for the missing items.

“They might appear in a sale notice or they might show up on the lakefront somewhere else,” Foley said by email.

He asked that anyone with information on the equipment call the Ossipee Police at (603) 539-2011 or contact him by email at LibertyYes@netzero.net.
